How to overcome obstacles:

  • Chunk out the project and chuck challenges.
  • Don't panic as challenges arise.

Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually?):

We all like to start around 7am, and be done around 7pm. We hope to get a couple of hours in each morning before classes start. We hope to get a good chunk done together on Saturday, then chunk off tasks. We will touch base again on Sunday.

Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open?):

We will see each other daily, and multiple times a day. We will use waffle.io to manage tasks, and communicate through slack when more info is needed.

Abilities Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement):

Nick - logic is a strength, would like to use better CSS practices to make sure responsiveness is on point. Amy - CSS and HTML structure to support good CSS, would like to improve on refactoring JS. John Michael - logic and problem solving is a strength, would like to build JS understanding.

Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?):

  • We will determine this once we've spent Saturday working as a team. Amy will own HTML/CSS, then we will break out functionality once we have a more firm grasp on the project.

Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests):

Push to GitHub frequently, use Waffle to track tasks.

Expectations for giving and receiving feedback:

The sooner the better. Lots of appreciation and coaching!
