Dear Andre,
We are writing you because Michael has discussed with us that there was an attempt to hack Curve at the emergence of BUSD pool. He explained that you and your friend managed to get a hand on hacker's money (500K USD) and, eventually, decided to return those back to the hacker.
While simply sharing with Michael our humble opinion that the money should've been shared between you, your friend and Curve, we believe that there was no independent hacker.
Most probably it was you and your friends who attempted and failed to hack Curve in order to harm its reputation.
Either way, we think that you are responsible either for this crime, or for redirecting those money back to criminals. This cannot be left unanswered.
Given that Michael considers your contributions important to the ecosystem and wouldn't be likely to ask us to impose any justice on you, we decided to give you time to fix the problem. We believe that a third ($170K) of the money in question should be given by you (or the hacker if such a hacker exists) to Curve in a form of donations. Shall that not be done, sooner or later we will find you, wherever you are, and hold you responsible.
All the best,
Friends of Curve
