Shopify makes every effort to be transparent with our customers when it comes
to policy documents and terms of service, however at times this is not an easy
task. Terms of Service documents become very technical very quickly, so we
strive to annotate each section of these documents with plain-language
sentences that summarize the spirit of the section in a way that is easy
to read. Taking a look through some of our posted policies you can see examples
