'I have always been driven to learn. It is what drew me to a biology degree. I am fascinated by math and science. During my degree I started working for the state in a business position. There I learned accounting, and business operations management, process improvement and a variety of other skills. After I graduated I realized that the position with the state was not a good fit, because I reached a point where I was no longer learning. Since before college I have been working as a tree climber. I decided to take a summer off, and go back to tree work full time while deciding my next move. I got involved in data analytics and wound up trying to learn to build an API. I realized then that I didn't know what to learn or how to start, which is what lead me to Turing. Now that I have started I know that I will never stop. Development is a vast field, and I could not learn everything there is to know right now in a life time. It keeps growing too, so we as developers need to continue learning to stay relevant. That is why I am excited to start in this field.'
