KL Coworking Spaces

KL coworking spaces reviews

Take note that I didn't visit every single one out there.

tl;dr (best to worst for every criteria)

If branch is not stated, it's because of my assumption that all branches will have similar quality in that aspect.

Crowd

  1. WeWork Equatorial Plaza - Clientele, vibe, activities
  2. WORQ TTDI - they are expanding coz overcrowded
  3. WORQ KL Gateway
  4. Komune Bangsar South
  5. ☠ Komune KLCC, found8

Proximity from transit

  1. found8 (inside KL sentral)
  2. WeWork Mercu 2, Common Ground, Colony (all in KL Eco City, right next to KJL Abdullah Hukum)
  3. WORQ TTDI (3 mins walk from MRT1 TTDI)
  4. WORQ KL Gateway (3 mins from KJL Universiti)
  5. Wework Equatorial Plaza (4 mins from MRL Raja Chulan)
  6. Komune KLCC (10 mins from KJL KLCC, you need to jaywalk from KL Convention Centre)
  7. Komune Bangsar South (10 mins from KJL Kerinchi, lots of unshaded walking)

Coziness

  1. WeWork
  2. Komune - seat not very comfy but smells great
  3. WORQ - cold
  4. found8 - cold

Customer service

  1. WeWork
  2. WORQ
  3. Komune

Other issues

  1. WeWork Equatorial Plaza
    • Motion activated lighting is not working well, even when we are in a room talking and moving, it keeps turning off every few minutes.
    • Guest WiFi is only 5Mbps, much slower than other coworking spaces.

Not reviewed: Common Ground, Colony, and other small spaces not mentioned.

Most coworking spaces these days have phone booths, meeting rooms on reservation, common areas etc.
