Procedure and laptop behavior: Cut or unplug mains, push Fn and b keys, then bios mod lenovo g550 on mains and push power on button keeping Fn and b pressed until it fist beeps. Upgrade to a newer version or use a different browser. The password prompt should now be gone and you should now have full access to it again. Some had had success so I started to try. How can I reset the BIOS. Hope this will help. Then tried without compression and I T W O R K E D.
