I’m looking forward to talking with you on Friday. The one-on-ones have been a relief so far, as there haven't been any problems and the message at each one has been that things are fine.
I've found that the times in between our meetings, however, can be stressful when your schedule is full. Radio silence can make it feel like something could be wrong, even if the simple answer is that you're merely too busy for minor interactions.
I wouldn't normally interpret things that way, but the surprise of the previous reviews has created a feeling that no news could actually be bad news. I hope that makes sense!
So this is just a reminder that if you're too busy to talk in detail, it only needs to take a second to let me know there aren't any problems and if there are, then a brief word before the meeting could help make sure I'm aware and prepared to have a fruitful discussion.
Thanks,
