Zeroing targets 25 meters
Take your time and make each shot count. I spy with my aging eye a Rite In the Rain logo in the lower right hand corner of the target sheets. Firing zeroing targets 25 meters or downhill normally causes the bullet to hit high relative to a horizontal trajectory. Therefore, it no longer crosses your line-of-sight at 25 meters, but further down at 50 meters. Wind is highly variable and sometimes quite different at the firing position than at the target position. Many find this more useful than a 25 meter zero. Knowing precisely where all bullets are hitting or missing the target, the poor firer with instructor-trainer assistance can improve his performance and the good firer can bring his shots to target center.
