Ledn is a financial services technology company with a mission to help people save in bitcoin and other digital assets. Our core suite of products and services is comprised of: (i) Dollar loans backed by bitcoin (for those who want liquidity but do not want to sell); (ii) Crypto or stablecoin savings accounts (for those who want to earn a yield on their digital asset); and (iii) B2X (a service that doubles the amount of bitcoin you own through the use of a bitcoin-backed loan). Ledn has built a proprietary technology and operational stack which allows us to deliver world class financial products across the globe.
- Conduct software design reviews and guide our engineers in building secure software
- Build and manage security automation tooling to aid in secure development, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure and application layers
- Triaging and resolving security vulnerabilities
- Participating in on-call rotation for responding to security incidents
- Continually taking initiative to improve the overall security posture of the organization
- 4+ years of information security experience
- Well rounded security experience that covers penetration testing, forensics, monitoring and security architecture, and preferably has been a part of a blue and/or red team
- Experience with scripting
- Experience with cloud security (AWS)
- Understands microservice architecture and serverless architecture
- Understands blockchains
- Experienced with cryptography (encryption, hashing etc.)
- Experience with designing and maintaining authorization layers in distributed microservice architectures
- Excited to teach and mentor others
- Experience with static code analysis platforms
- Experience with SIEM software
- Experience with SOC certification process
- Experience in finding, responsibly disclosing, or resolving security vulnerabilities in open source software
- Experience with production databases (MongoDB)
- Experience with Vault
- Has bug bounty profile with successful bounties (such as HackerOne or BugCrowd)
- Any of the following certifications: OSCP, CISSP, CEH, Security+, GSEC
We're all working remote until Summer 2021. After that, if and when it's safe to do so, we'll return to a part-time office arrangement in downtown Toronto. We've learned a lot working remotely and are pretty good at it, but also miss connecting and collaborating with our team!
