NGINX tuning for best performance

NGINX Tuning For Best Performance

For this configuration you can use web server you like, i decided, because i work mostly with it to use nginx.

Generally, properly configured nginx can handle up to 400K to 500K requests per second (clustered), most what i saw is 50K to 80K (non-clustered) requests per second and 30% CPU load, course, this was 2 x Intel Xeon with HyperThreading enabled, but it can work without problem on slower machines.

You must understand that this config is used in testing environment and not in production so you will need to find a way to implement most of those features best possible for your servers.

How to configure multiple deploy keys for different private github repositories on the same computer without using ssh-agent

How to configure multiple deploy keys for different private github repositories on the same computer without using ssh-agent

Let's say alice is a github.com user, with 2 or more private repositories repoN. For this example we'll work with just two repositories named repo1 and repo2

https://github.com/alice/repo1

https://github.com/alice/repo2

You need to be to pull from these repositories without entering a passwords probably on a server, or on multiple servers.

Sometimes you just need an empty container in Magento 2. But when a container is empty (contains no blocks) it is not rendered. This way you can add a html comment inside the container.
<block class="Magento\Framework\View\Element\Text" name="comment.placeholder">
<arguments>
<argument name="text" xsi:type="string"><![CDATA[<!-- -->]]></argument>
</arguments>
</block>

# stock verison from php:alpine image
# ensure www-data user exists
RUN set -x \
&& addgroup -g 82 -S www-data \
&& adduser -u 82 -D -S -G www-data www-data
# 82 is the standard uid/gid for "www-data" in Alpine
