I am writing to let you know that you must veto this bill:

As a governor who has touted his business abilities you know that this bill is
worded in such a way as to keep competition out of Michigan. This bill cannot
pass.

Michigan is a state with a deep history in the car industry. Innovation and
engineering used to be how the world described Michigan. Using legislation to
squash those very values that we have held dear for so long is cheap, and
against the future you yourself have said you want to build.

I encourage you to do the right thing, veto HB5606 and show lobbyists that
innovation and competition is how we will value business in Michigan, not
shadowy legislative techniques.
