Hammerspoon: generate a table of images of "graph lines" which will fill the specified screen via imageFromASCII

should play nicer with multi-monitor setups now for Hammerspoon 0.9.42 and newer.

Would require significant code changes to make it work for earlier versions; if you need to, the key is that the edge tiles (images) need to be mostly on the desired monitor, so you'll need a way to tell graphWithSpacing() (or a new function) to build a partial tile, not a full sized one.

This works great! I don't know why, but I had to add

local module = require("hs.drawing.internal")

at the top of the file to get it to work.... was getting a nil on the getObjectMetatable call.

Then to use it, all I had to do was the following, as you suggested:

local graph = require("graphpaper")
local images = graph.fillScreen(20)
images:setAlpha(.5):show()

and it works awesome... thanks so much!

You probably could have gotten away with require("hs.drawing"), as that loads the hs.drawing.internal file... You're right that the metatable won't exist until that's loaded... I'll update the code to include this... on my machine, after loading my init.lua file, most of the core stuff has already been loaded, so I missed this!
