Mick Pollard

After a couple of decades in the ISP, Web Hosting and Cloud Industry as a systems administrator / Infrastructure Coder, Mick Pollard was invited to help build the Australian Government's Digital Transformation Office (DTO). There he completed a 16 month engagement to help build clearer, simpler, faster public services.

Mick's focus at the DTO was on building the next generation software delivery platform that allowed digital transformation teams to operate safely at speed.

Mick co-founded Devops Sydney along with Lindsay Holmwood in Feb 2010 - a monthly meetup for ideas, knowledge sharing and carer building.

When not tapping at a keyboard Mick can be found chasing kangaroos in the Australian country.
