botlist.space Verification Guideline (Unofficial)

Here is a checklist for your bot to be verified on botlist.space, in addition to basic requirements:

  • NSFW commands should run if the channel is NSFW and should not run if the channel is not NSFW even if the channel name includes the word "NSFW".
  • When lacking permissions, an exception should be thrown to the user, in the channel and not in DM.
  • Publicly unusable commands (e.g. Owner-only commands like reboot) should not be listed in the help command.
  • Ignore channels that the bot doesn't have Send Messages in. (Not tested tho)

These are recommended measure to get your bot verified faster, but not necessarily needed.

Discord Bot Currency Standard

Discord Bot Currency Standard

Drafted by austinhuang#1076.

Sometimes your users found hard to earn a specific virtual currency on a specific bot that they enjoy. Sometimes your users found easy to earn another currency on another bot but they have nowhere to use it. For these reasons your users will abandon both bots and turn to a bot that allow them to earn and use the currency wisely.

Introducing Discoin, a universal currency allowing users to exchange currencies from one bot to another bot.

Definition of a central currency

Discoin is a currency that is solely used to be exchanged into other bots' currencies. It is only used during transactions.

An English guide to most RTM add-on packs, by austinhuang

The RTM Packs Guide

NO LONGER MAINTAINED

RTM, which stands for Real Train Mod, is a Minecraft mod that adds real Japanese-style railways and trains into your Minecraft world. You can download it from here (Navigate to 最新版 (Latest), find NGTLib and RealTrainMod, click on the name to download it. Trick: Click the stars. It'll bypass adfly.)

You know there are add-on packs, and you want them. However they are scattered: Some of them are in the official add-on thread, others in Twitter #RealTrainMod. So I organized them.

  • Most packs support front/tail lights.
  • About half of all the packs support doors.
  • About 1/3 of all the packs support interior light.
