We are one of the numerous partners of the Knights of Academia 2020 hackacthon! :letmein_devcord: We would like @everyone to join it! But some basic information that they want us to share first.
They are breaking this event up into three phases.
1️⃣ Phase 1: Lobby is Opened As of March 1st, the floodgates open to all participants and spectators of the event of the dozens of communities participating. Come on in, mingle, and begin getting acquainted with the informational posts tacked up to the walls. The link to the event will be shared here!
2️⃣ Phase 2: Team Building & Idea Creation March 7th to March 13th. Begin to build your tribe! Whether you come with friends already or if you come alone looking for a group to connect with, this is where you get into a group and begin to formulate your war plans. Choose your brilliant idea for your project and prepare for the start of the competition.
3️⃣ Phase 3: Start of the Competition! March 14th to March 24th. You've formulated your team and you have chosen your idea. Now it's time to put the pedal to the metal. Throughout this ten day sprint you will take your idea from concept to fruition.
And Finally, the Loot! What would a Hackathon be without awesome prizes? We are giving away custom made 3D printed swords to the grand prize winners of this event alongside discord nitro for each member of the team. We are also giving away discord nitro for the winners of the subcategory of most poms completed during the ten day sprint of the event!
