"Nomination for Game Changer Award Jun 2024"

Albert, a member of the Workflow Management team, has consistently demonstrated behaviors that align with the Game Changer Award criteria. His innovative approach and willingness to challenge the status quo have had a significant impact on our team and overall product development.

Example 1: Collaborative API Contract Definition When we work together on defining new endpoints, Albert and I collaborate to define the API contract first. This approach has saved us a substantial amount of time and has ensured seamless integration between the front-end and back-end components. His readiness to adopt this method highlights his commitment to efficiency and teamwork, greatly benefiting our development process.

Example 2: Tackling Unfamiliar Problems Albert exhibits a remarkable eagerness to dive into unfamiliar challenges. On multiple occasions, when a bug appears to be front-end related, he doesn’t hesitate to take ownership and resolve it, even if it’s outside hi

Kudos from students

"Firstly, thank you for the great semester. You taught us cutting edge JS topics, providing high-quality references, practical examples, and I'm sure everybody learned a lot! Again: this was one of the best courses I've ever taken! Congratulations!"

  • Leticia B. COMP2112 Adv. JS student

"You are the one of the best instructors I have ever met. Thank you so much for replying in any situation and no matter how complex our error would be, you just helped us everytime. The way you teach is different from the rest and which is much appreciated."

  • Anmol S. COMP1006 PHP/mySQL student

"Happy Teachers Day Sir. I just wanted to say that you are the best teacher I have ever found. Your teaching style is amazing. It’s because of you that I love JavaScript, as you taught me that. Moreover, because of you, I learned node and angular (basics) so well. Though you did not teach me that, your YouTube lectures were very helpful. Seriously, if I haven’t studied your lectures I and my group members would not

My Work Reviews

Semi-Annual Manager Review Oct 2024

Your work on the Disconnected Notifications project with the Integrations ensured that project was successful. You did a good job being the sole frontend developer, and on-loan, to Integrations to take the project to completion. You demonstrated a great team player attitude and a high degree of ownership. Your work on the PHP8 migration was very important to ensure your team hit their commitment of having endpoints migrated.

  1. What impact has the individual had on the team?

As one of the longest standing developers on WFM, you have done a good job helping onboard Shayna and getting her up-to-speed with the WFM frontend. Your team has also appreciated the way you create Loom demos if your work so there's a clear understanding of what's beibg delivered and how it works.

  1. What can the person do differently to be even more successful in the next quarter? (do differen
