- Naturbad Maria Einsiedel. Nice outdoor naturbad with central location. Built at the Isar. It is possible to rent deck chairs for €3/day. Several ways to get there with Öffi. Bus 135 might be the most convenient.
- Tierpark Hellabrunn. The Zoo. Very popular family destination.
- (Day trip) Germany longest Sommerrodelbahn! Blombergbahn
- (Day trip/half day/Bad weather day activity) Therme Erding Erlebnisbad. The X-Treme Fazer will accelerate a person to 72km/h!

- A personal favorite, just south of the city center. S-Bahn takes you there in 5-7min.

- The best biergarten in München? Tradition lives in WaWi. S-Bahn south, 8 stops and then 10min walk.
- ... but there is no shortage. Just avoid Hofbrauhaus and you will be fine. :-)

- The place I have been to the most in Munich. So good! Fränkische "tapas". Excellent Helles. Close to Haubtbahnhof. Bar Bufet
