Python/web developer

At VeewMe, we want to change US Real Estate market. We build modern tools for real estate agents and photographers to help automate their marketing.

Our Virtual Tours (Single Page Applications for properties) allow our customers to stand out from the competition and grow their businesses.

We are looking for a Python/Django developer.

Our stack

  • Python / Django / AWS / Video APIs / PostgreSQL / Redis
  • ES6 / React.js / Browserify / Grunt

Requirements

  • You have at least 2 years experience writing web applications
  • You have built at least 1 Django application / worked with commercial Django codebase
  • You know how to work with SQL / NoSQL databases
  • Experience working with GIT
  • You know how to move around in shell
  • Fluent English (spoken and written), excellent communication skills
  • You know HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
  • You have basic front-end skills - able to do basic front-end development
  • [Nice to have] Experience with React.js / Angular or other SPA-capable frameworks
  • [Nice to have] Experience with configuring production Python/Django environment (nginx, uwsgi)

What we offer

  • 6,000 - 11,000PLN brutto depending on skills

How we work

In VeewMe, we have a strong focus on shipping, and quality. This means we aim to ship as fast as we can (and iterate on that), but provided our quality standards are satisfied.

We try to follow the best practices both in development and startup spaces. If you've read books like Rework, Remote, we'll find a common tongue.

We automate day-to-day workflow, utilising continuous delivery strategies, and numerous Slack integrations.
