Yes. It includes all the language packs that Microsoft published WMC with, including "ru-RU".

I'm assuming you had installed a different version of WMC before. Typically running the uninstall from the other version, rebooting, and running the uninstall again will finally completely delete the ehome folder. When it happens, it is like 1 or 2 font files that aren't deleted because the OS is still holding on to them.

The software is from Microsoft and is not open source, though a lot of it is kind of open source since it was written in C# targeting .NET Framework 4.

Whoa, calm down there.

I ran this straight after downloading, but top tier anti-virus Kaspersky reported suspicious behavior from this installer, from System Watcher.

Many of them were infected with PDM:Trojan.Win32.Generic, and 178 objects were deleted, as well as the installer was terminated and deleted immediately, and Advanced Disinfection rolled back all changes made.

Some of them still had residual files and registration entries leftover, so I had to use the dedicated uninstaller Revo Uninstaller.

Clarification needed.

If you need more details, you can ask me a report of these files marked as threats.

One of the many false detects from top tier A/V suites. There is no Trojan... if you notice the trojan name is "Generic" which means it didn't detect any trojan/malicious code. What it triggered on was trojan like behavior which based on your first image is copying files into the Windows\System32 folder. It could also have been the creation of registry entries in system areas. So that is strike 1 and maybe strike 2. Strike 3 is the fact that even though the msi package is legit signed, it is an uncommon download/install and I didn't pay thousands of dollars to buy "reputation" so A/V software will be more accepting of this "behavior".

So take all that for what it is worth. You're either going to trust it or not, but 10's of thousands of people have downloaded and installed my msi version, or the many other zip package versions without issue.
