What is your greatest strength and how do you know?
My ability to organize and follow my gut. I am a pretty intuitive person, I've always marched to the beat of my own drum and taken unconventional routes to acquire success or goals. By staying organzied, and evaluating what advice I choose to take, I am able to maintain focus on my own goals and feel like I am in control and making progress. I feel like if you rely on other people to find out the best route or path to a goal, it doesn't feel like you actually achieved anything but rather piggy backed on someone else's success.

How do you work best?
I work best in a team. I do things well on my own, but I like that competitive drive I get working with people. I think it is always interesting to work with people and see how they approach problems. I think it's important to get outside of your own head and pick someone else's when you're stuck, just to see how they would approach the same problem. Not to compare, but just as an exercise so that in the future you could potentially see alternate approaches to a problem.

What is your greatest area of improvement?
Stability and consistent growith. I think growing up I felt more like everything was a sprint. A sprint through exam week, a spring through mid terms, etc. However, post-graduate life has taught me that growth and learning don't have to feel like a sprint, they can be gradual and less constricting. I've enjoyed learning so much more after formal education ended, because I felt like I could finally pick the direction I wanted to grow into.

How do you hope to maximize your strengths for your new career in software development?
I plan to remain organized and well planned throughout my time at Turing by setting down at the beginning of every week and planning everything from my work at turing and personal life. I find that visualizing that there is time for everything, so long as I plan it all out (including breaks because you must be realisitic), then I feel less stressed.

How might knowing about your strengths and working preferences benefit you as a software developer?
I think that software development is largely team-based, so I think that my love of working within a team is going to fit in well. I think that my interest in actually intereacting with people helps create my ability to be an empathetic designer and hopefully developer soon.
