Header (1x6) (0.1" & 2.00mm; Various styles)

6-pin 0.1"- (2.54mm) or 2.00mm-pitch header, single-row. THT/SMT, vertical/horizontal, male/female footprints all available as options.

Different manufacturers produce very slightly varying products, so I've tried to keep these footprints fairly tolerant while not consuming too much excess board space. In particular, the heights of pins and female shrouds varies a lot, so bear that in mind if using horizontal footprints.

I then verified these, where possible, by measuring dimensions of various styles of header that I have in my toolkit.

Reference Documents

Here is a list of all of the references (drawings, specification documents, datasheets, etc.) that I used when creating my "Header" component for the PCB designer on 123D Circuits - my header component differing from most in that it has PCB footprints available for a range of different header types, including THT/SMD, male/female, and vertical/horizontal. I've linked to the 1x6 version, but I plan to create components for other pin counts.
