Subject: Hot Dev Ops Provisioning Engineer opening at VMware
xxxxx,
I know that you are currently not looking, but I was hoping you could help me out. I have opportunities with VMware that are currently available and was wondering if you knew of anyone in your network would be interested.
I am looking for a Dev Ops Provisioning Engineer.
This is a contract role in Lisle, IL. I am not asking anyone to move. This contract requires 80% travel and you must on site.
Required Skills & Experience:
1. Experience with using tools such as Puppet, Chef, VMware AppDirector.
2. Awareness of private cloud architectures in large enterprises.
3. Framework and API development.
Other Desired Skills and Experiences:
1. Experience developing browser based web applications using HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
2. Experience developing Java apps with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, GemFire, Neo4j) and Spring Data.
3. Experience developing Java apps where either JMS or AMQP (e.g. RabbitMQ) plays a vital role .
4. Direct product vendor engineering experience inclusive of development and QA.
5. Experience designing & writing automated testing suites, drivers, interfaces
6. Experience with industry testing tools e.g. Selenium by Open Source, HP Quality Center, ParaSoft, lower level developer unit and integration testing tools
