The kitchen is well equipped and he's very reachable by text message if you happen to need anything. Winson's home is the absolutely perfect size for 2-3 people.  I couldn't believe how quite the neighborhood was, every night was like coming home to an oasis. The amenities were just right for our needs- small kitchen, washer/dryer, clean bathroom. I spent a lot of my time eating meals in the adorable bay window dining room or on the back porch!\r\nI didn't need a car the entire visit, the public bus is just one block away and was so convenient. I highly recommend staying at this modern retreat. Winson was extremely accommodating and gave great tips on local hot spots. The neighborhood was charming and there were lots of interesting things within walking distance. The house was furnished in a way that was cozy and homey, but didn't feel like you were staying in the midst of someone else's life. We were at home right away! Fully equiped (huge) appartment, shops and great restaurants/coffeeshops nearby. We've especially liked the Kennedy School (for dinner) and Barista (for coffee) on Alberta Street. The neighbourhood is very quiet and this is great when you're travelling with a toddler. Winson was very helpful before and during our stay. He even provided us with a booster seat for our 2 yo. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and the house is immaculate and stylish, and we loved having a deck in the backyard. It was the perfect place to spend our long weekend in Portland. So close to the fantastic arts   venue, The Kennedy School, and Alberta Arts District. We were able to walk just about everywhere. \r\n\r\nBeautiful natural light, lovely hardwood floors, great arts and design throughout it was great to come back home to each night after a day of trekking around the city. \r\n\r\nAlso, the bed and pillows in the main bedroom were SUPER comfortable and we had some very restful nights of sleep.\r\n\r\nWinson himself was great to communicate with, both before, during and after our stay. We stayed for 12 days at Winson's place with ourselves and our 17 month old daughter. We felt absolutely at home. The house was absolutely perfect, and Winson was an excellent host who made sure that we had everything we needed! Just a few highlights:\r\n\r\n- The bedroom has a very comfortable bed, with a dresser, nightstand and a big closet for your things. \r\n- The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook simple meals during our stay, should we decide not to take advantage of the absolute wealth of food choices a mile or less away down on Alberta.\r\n- Our daughter took the second bedroom with her hideaway crib. It has its own closet and door to the back deck in the private backyard.
