Hi everyone,

I'm not quite certain what isn't working with the meetings but I think it is clear there is something off. For the immediate future we're going to shift focus away from presentation-style meetings towards workshop-style meetings. Smaller in size, focused on single subjects.

We're also going to move to the $1/admission style. As the workshops will be smaller in size it is important to ensure attendance.

How you can help:

  • Contribute workshop ideas/requests on the Trello board: https://trello.com/b/R6lCAMhT/boston-ember-group

  • Offer space. Ideally we'd be looking for enough space for 20 - 30. Classroom style preferred.

  • Assist with the workshop. Being a Teaching Assistant during the workshops will be important.

I also want to facilitate online discussions amongst our group. Meetup's tools are poor for this, so I've created a Boston Ember Google Group: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/boston-ember

It's important to us to grow the Boston Ember community and share our knowledge with everyone.
