Youth Group Leader Maranatha 2-5 hours/week, Sunday 6PM plus monthly meetings, plus special events Be a part of a team of adults who love teens and desire to love them and walk with them through such a crucial time in their lives. As leaders, we seek to continually point the teens to Christ, train and equip them to serve his kingdom and church, and support the ongoing work of parents in their teens' lives. Maranatha leaders are asked to be at Maranatha meetings on Sunday nights from 6-7:45pm. We have monthly Thursday night meetings from 6:30-8:30pm, and events twice a month on weekends. We also have regional Bible Studies that meet twice a month, but this is optional for leaders to be involved in. Bring in Snacks for Schola Cantorum Students Children's Music Education Once monthly We have a snack time for students on the third Sunday of each month. The volunteer would purchase (and be reimbursed for) snacks. They would bring them in and help set up for the snack time. Nursery Helper/Volunteer Nursery 2-3 times per quarter Tenth members are needed to care for children between 8 weeks to age 3. Help is needed during all three services on Sundays. No prior experience is required and volunteers serve in groups of 2 or 3 in each room. Volunteers must be members with a willingness to serve the families and children of Tenth. Philadelphia Conference on Reformed Theology (PCRT) Host Committee Member Hospitality A few hours/month January-April, more time as assigned during and leading up to PCRT. Prepare and host PCRT. Help lead or participate in a host team overseeing logistics and on-site hosting of PCRT at Tenth. Includes scheduling volunteers and room locations, food planning, registration logistics, communication and publicity. Tenth Playgroup Volunteer Community Playgroup Alternating Wednesday mornings, 9:30-11:30am Volunteers are welcome to join the Tenth Playgroup team as we provide a safe and inviting play setting for our littlest neighbors and their caregivers. Volunteers help with the tasks of setting up and running play stations, serving refreshments, and interacting with our guests. Place or Pickup Cones Parking Once a month or less Place or pickup cones before or after services We are in need of volunteers to place parking cones prior to morning and evening services and collect cones afterward. The cones are split into 4 zones each of which takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes and involves using a hand truck. Must be able to pickup cones and pull a hand truck.
