It's ridiculously stupid, actually...
OK, so long story:
The Division 2 has been basically closing with no error every time I boot it up shortly after the EasyAntiCheat splash screen would pop up. I had seen prior to playing this patch that there were issues on Bazzite and Steamdeck and thought I was probably experiencing whatever issues where happening on those platforms. So I was checking Reddit every chance to see if anyone had figured out what the issues were or if something had changed with EAC.
I found out, yesterday, that if I switched my session from Hyprland to Gnome it would run and then it ran in Hyprland once afterwards and so I started down that rabbit hole to see if I couldn't find a solution there. No real luck.
I want as far as to nuke my .local and .config directories down to the baseline stuff in my dotfiles repo which took my Steam library with it (no big deal just have to re-download stuff).
