Summary


A returning Seattle-native, I am a web and iOS developer who absorbs and applies new technologies
quickly and effectively. As a former entrepreneur and educator in Taiwan, I value collaboration,
communication, challenges, adaptability, persistence, and ownership of one’s work. I bring focus,
stability, and full-engagement to every encounter, developed in over a decade of mindfulness practice.

July-November, 2017 : Certificate, Black-belt, Full-stack Web Development; Coding Dojo (Bellevue, WA)

Attained black belts (95.5%+ marks) in iOS/Swift and MongoDB/Express/Angular/Node stacks. 
Built 40+ web and mobile apps over 1000+ hours in the classroom, including MVC frameworks, 
user authentication, forms with front/backend validations, CRUD database operations, with 
final projects deployed to AWS/EC2 servers.

Complete design, development, and deployment of a responsive web site (RWS) for a local
small business owner using mobile-first best design practices, requiring analysis of 
business needs and communication with business owner to determine site requirements.

Zap Bam Pow: GitHub Repository | YouTube

A multiplayer, networked 'lazer-tag' game for iOS 11 built over 4 days.  I designed and 
built the gameplay interface with a 3-person team.  Players login to a local server and 
play a timed round in which they try to target and 'shoot' QR codes affixed to the other 
players.  The project won a hackathon competition across four Coding Dojo campuses.

A task tracking application created in Python using the Django framework. This application
allows users to track upcoming tasks and appointments. Users are able to register/login to 
edit tasks, with additional validations implemented to prevent past dating. Also uses CRUD 
operations, Bootstrap styles, Ajax dynamic search, and is deployed to AWS EC2 using Nginx as 
a reverse proxy to serve multiple apps.
