What were we trying to accomplish?
- Goals: take single-tenancy store to multi-tenancy store
- Learning more important than extensions
- Learning, familiarize ourselves with structure
- Individual learning goals
Where did we hit (or miss) our objectives?
- Lenny: felt like got 80% of exposure out of it
- Justin: got base stuff done, didn’t get chance
- Beth: refactoring, didn’t get a chance to work on permission service, implementing permission service early so everyone has a chance to touch it
What caused our results?
- Time was the main factor…
- Justin: likes having a lot of structure.
- Beth: would have liked more communication early in project about people’s needs for structure.
- Lenny: Didn’t know how to ask for what he needed.
- Having us near each other when coding was helpful.
- Having user stories written out was helpful.
- Debriefing sooner: end of day
- Disconnect on pace: communication issue around that.
- Setting expectations is hard, when we were having trouble
- Justin was having trouble estimating time it would take to finish something…
- Strategy issue.
