What were we trying to accomplish?

  • Goals: take single-tenancy store to multi-tenancy store
  • Learning more important than extensions
  • Learning, familiarize ourselves with structure
  • Individual learning goals

Where did we hit (or miss) our objectives?

  • Lenny: felt like got 80% of exposure out of it
  • Justin: got base stuff done, didn’t get chance
  • Beth: refactoring, didn’t get a chance to work on permission service, implementing permission service early so everyone has a chance to touch it

What caused our results?

  • Time was the main factor…
  • Justin: likes having a lot of structure.
  • Beth: would have liked more communication early in project about people’s needs for structure.
  • Lenny: Didn’t know how to ask for what he needed.
  • Having us near each other when coding was helpful.
  • Having user stories written out was helpful.
  • Debriefing sooner: end of day
  • Disconnect on pace: communication issue around that.
  • Setting expectations is hard, when we were having trouble
  • Justin was having trouble estimating time it would take to finish something…
  • Strategy issue.

What should we start, stop, or continue doing?
