- olive oil
- 0.5lb (6 strips) thick cut bacon
- 3/4 cup (180ml) whole milk
- 1 tbsp minced garlic / (or 4 cloves of garlic sliced?)
- 1 onion
- one 100 won (100완) of fettuccine (or thinner) pasta (one 16oz Barilla box has about 400 won)
- 2 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 white mushrooms
- 1 tbsp butter
- Cut bacon into bite sized pieces
- Mince half of the garlic
- Thinly slice half of the garlic
- Slice mushrooms
- Boil a pot of water
- Place pasta in boiling water and cook following the instructions on the package
- When cooked, strain pasta and set aside
- In a pan, fry garlic in butter at medium heat
- When fragrant, add mushrooms
- After mushrooms are slightly wilted, add bacon and onions
- Continue frying until onion starts becoming translucent and bacon is mostly cooked
- Add milk and cheese
- Boil until reduced/sufficiently creamy
- Add pasta and cook for a few more minutes, mixing cream and noodles
- Goes well with fried pork cutlet, add ground black pepper to taste
