CHAOSS Badging user stories

Applicant's statement:

As an event applicant organizer / host, I should be able to get a badge which represents good D&I practices at my event.

  • Least effort on the part of the applicant, to place a request for a badge
  • Badge representation in a suitable format, which can be used on a website

Reviewer's statement:

As an event reviewer, I should be able to assess an event, give constructive feedback and assign the appropriate badge.

  • An efficient feedback loop between reviewers and applicants
  • Well defined reviewer responsibilities and guidelines
  • Review Checklist implementation

Applicant's statement:

As a project applicant, I should be able to get a presentable badge based on the positive D&I aspects of contribution.

  • For projects, the assigned badge should match up with badges which indicate other aspects of a typical software project. like build status.
