Morgenbladet - Developer
Morgenbladet is looking for a dedicated developer who will be a key resource in the development of the core technology in the group's digital infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with Morgenbladet, but be based at Mentor Medier and
report to Annette and Bjarne. We will give priority to Morgenbladet's needs, and you will be involved in shaping and developing new tools for the group.

We work according to modern and innovative product development processes, and as a developer with us, you will have the 
opportunity to be closely involved in creative processes and a dynamic environment where we truly believe that we are making 
society a little bit better by getting even more good journalism out to even more people on even more platforms.

You will become part of a small, agile team based in Oslo consisting of tech, UX, and product that will work closely with 
Morgenbladet, and you will join a team of skilled professionals. We have short decision-making lines and great opportunities
to influence. We want people who not only want to sit alone and code but who can also use their commitment and creativity when
we work on figuring out what to build and how to do it.
We believe the person we are looking for has:

- Good knowledge of frontend development using React as a framework
- Ability to pivot quickly and be solution-oriented
- Thrives in an environment where things are constantly changing
- Experience with modern development processes such as continuous delivery
- Knowledge of the media industry is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Likes to work both independently and in a team
- Writes code with a focus on security
- Wants to be involved in shaping the development culture at Mentor Medier

- Github actions and ArgoCD for CI/CD

Morgenbladet has a unique place in the Norwegian newspaper landscape, both by being one of the oldest newspapers and by being a central arena for intellectual debate and thinking. We are now in a particularly exciting phase where we aim to develop a new and different online newspaper. We will continue our strong identity and our journalistic ambition to put current events into perspective and analyze the most significant developments of our time. Since 2003, Morgenbladet has more than quadrupled its circulation. Throughout our more than 200-year history, we have never had more readers than now. Morgenbladet is owned by Mentor Medier AS, which also owns, among others, Dagsavisen and Vårt Land.
