I'm primarily using Notion to organize my journey through Turing in:
- Mod 0
- Mod 1
- Mod 2
- Mod 3
- Mod 4
- ...and beyond?
Why am I using notion?
-
It has a generous free plan
-
It is first and foremost a markdown editor
-
It has a powerful database tool that allows you to:
- Link data between or across pages
- View data in a number of different formats, including:
- As a calendar
- As cards similar to a Trello board
- As a list
- As a table
- As a gallery
- In a timeline
This means I can use Notion to organize all of my projects, my homework, my classwork, my vocabulary lists, my questions, and more in a single place. It helps me keep track of the many moving parts both at Turing and in my personal life to help ensure I don't miss anything.
Notion allows you to do both inline code (like this
), as well as code blocks like this:
puts "Roses are red"
puts "Violets are blue"
puts "Ruby is sweet"
puts "And so is ice cream."
