Mod 0 Plan - Markdown Practice

Brenna's Turing Gameplan

Organization - The Main Objective

Notion

I'm primarily using Notion to organize my journey through Turing in:

  1. Mod 0
  2. Mod 1
  3. Mod 2
  4. Mod 3
  5. Mod 4
  6. ...and beyond?
Why am I using notion?
  • It has a generous free plan

  • It is first and foremost a markdown editor

  • It has a powerful database tool that allows you to:

    • Link data between or across pages
    • View data in a number of different formats, including:
      1. As a calendar
      2. As cards similar to a Trello board
      3. As a list
      4. As a table
      5. As a gallery
      6. In a timeline

What does this mean?

This means I can use Notion to organize all of my projects, my homework, my classwork, my vocabulary lists, my questions, and more in a single place. It helps me keep track of the many moving parts both at Turing and in my personal life to help ensure I don't miss anything.

Have a peek at what Notion looks like:

And that's not all!

Notion allows you to do both inline code (like this), as well as code blocks like this:

puts "Roses are red"
puts "Violets are blue"
puts "Ruby is sweet"
puts "And so is ice cream."

And by popular request: ⚡️ Using my new skills, I have TURNED THIS SENTENCE INTO A LINK TO YOUR GIST ⚡️
