Billing

Billing Preference

  • In console go to My Billing Dashboard> Preferences>
  • Select Receive Free Tier Usage Alerts and provide email
  • Select Receive Billing Alerts

Create billing Alerts

  • Go to https://console.aws.amazon.com/cloudwatch/
  • Change the region to US East (N. Virginia) if needed
  • Go to Alarms > Billing > Create Alarm
  • Go to Billing Alarm section
  • Set the threshold to 0 USD and give an email address
