Pepitas & chia seed granola

Pepitas Granola

Ingredients

  • 12 oz raw pepitas
  • 90g (3 oz, 0.5 cup) chia seeds
  • 4oz hemp seeds
  • 4oz raw sunflower
  • 0.5 tbsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp hickory liquid smoke
  • 0.5 cups honey
  • 0.25 cups coconut oil
  • 1-2 tsp salt (to taste)

Process

  • preheat oven to 350F
  • Combine honey & coconut oil. Gently heat, whisk until combined
  • Add salt, cinnamon, liquid smoke to honey & oil mixture
  • Combine seeds, and add liquid mixture. Thoroughly mix.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, spread the mixture on the sheet, place oven
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes (or until pepitas are browned), removing to mix thoroughly every 5 minutes.
