Why am I cancelling TrollBox

Hi TrollBox user !

You might be here as you saw on Readme or idk where that I were cancelling TrollBox developement. This is true. Before reading this, please excuse my bad english. You probably use TrollBox to unsupervise your device or to use the LocSim. To not disturb any of those activities, I've only archived the repo so you can still use it. But I won't develop anymore on TrollBox, here is why :

  1. Not well organized

The app's structure and code was written by me 1 year ago when I was learning Swift. It's not stable, not clean at all, and is slow.

  1. No testing device

TrollStore 2 is out but no install method for arm64e iOS 16.6.1 so I can't test

  1. Stability

I receive DMs almost every day for problems that are due to app's stability

  1. Lack of ideas

I have much betters ideas in plan but I don't wanna embed it in TrollBox.

  1. App's purpose is useless

After thinking about it, TrollStore allows you to sideload everything you want, unlimited, so the purpose of TrollBox ; recenter every tool, is defeated.

i don't think i agree that trollbox was useless, it had the nicest ui and the most tools of any similar app i tried. i loved the app and i can't wait for your next one!

And Anonycord is also gone! Do you plan on continuing the project?

I have to say I also agree that TrollBox isn’t useless, it’s a nice general tool for multiple utilities so you don’t need to have 20 app icons for single use utilities. Sad that it’s archived now but thank you and I’ll continue to use it for as long as I’m on 17.0, or if you come out with an app to replace it. I do wonder though because I could never get the bookmarks for the location sim to work haha.

Same! I don't think these tools should be split up into several apps. TrollBox brings them together and that's greeeaaat. Looking forward to your new app!! XD
