"text": "Today's podcast is an awe inducing practice called 1, 2, 3 space, facilitated by Nick Zaleski. This 10 minute practice takes you from the thinking space to feeling space and ending in awe to help you compare and contrast while building the capacity to see, eat, and feel from the seat of awe.",

"text": "So wherever you are decide first if you want to practice seated or standing, and then take a minute to just go there now. And then just settle into yourself here. So before we go anywhere else, just tune into what's already happening in the life of the body. You can start from the ground and work your way up, or start from the crown and work your way down, whichever feels right to you, but just take a moment for a little body scan here, Turning up the volume of our awareness to the sensations inside of us.",

"text": "And avoid making any judgments on what you observe here, just noticing, noticing, noticing. And in this practice, we're going to move between 3 different spaces, our 1 space, our 2 space, and our 3 space for the sake of understanding what each of them are like and what they produce in our body and how we go between them. So just treat this as an opportunity for research on yourself here. And we'll start with our 1 space. This is that thinking place, place of intellect, of brain power, of thought. And So draw all your attention up to the head. Bring sensation above the neck here and just let yourself drop in to that space behind the third eye, that big old brain, and come into your head. And sometimes we can do this by rehearsing the checklist that might be on your mind right now.",

"text": "You can work some simple arithmetic here too. 7 plus 19, 24 plus 8. Notice for a minute where your eyes are, are they looking up? And then notice what other sensations are alive when you're in this thinking space. Give your jaw some attention, noticing what's happening to it. And then what is or is not online in the rest of your body as you're in this thinking place. And we'll turn that place up just slightly more here by taking a deep inhale all the way to the top of your head.",

"text": "Exhale through the nose. And 1 more like that for good measure, deep inhale, pulling that attention up. Hold. Exhale. And just clock any last sensation you want to observe here in that 1 space. And we'll transition to 2 now. This is our feeling space. So letting your attention drop down below the neck. You might even pick a color for it. And imagine the energy dripping from your crown behind the third eye into and coloring the rest of your body here. Feel the space between your shoulders, space between your rib cage, space between your hips, space between your thighs and space between your feet. Just feel here and feel what it's like to feel. And get specific in your observations of sensation here. And to drop more deeply into this 2 space, we'll find some conscious breath here as well. So this time, before we are breathing into the head, this time we're going to be breathing into the rib cage. So just focusing our attention on our solar plexus and allowing that to expand out. So from the center of our body, exhaling. And exhaling nice and slow. Imagining that energy blooming out like a lotus flower, inhale. Exhale to close the flower. Exhale to close the flower. Last inhale. Last exhale. Last exhale. Feel that solar plexus. And clock any last sensations you want to observe here in that 2 space, space of feeling. And lastly, transitioning now to 3 space. This is that place of awe, of possibility, of there's something more. So let yourself include that feeling state now with everything around you. Getting a little more permeable and porous to the environment around you. Almost like you're able to gather the energy of light, of any surprise that you are noticing in the space you're in. You're able to gather that into you. Suction it through your cells. Suction it through your cells.",

"text": "Let yourself notice details here that might cultivate some of that reverence. Sense of something outside of you, bigger than you. And to drop into this space a little bit more, just actually take time to tuck your shoulders into your back so that your chest opens up slightly. And we'll just take 3 Deep belly breaths here while still including everything around you into these deeper breaths now with your chest open. Inhaling to fill the belly. Exhaling to let it loose, inhaling to fill, exhaling to relax, inhaling to fill, and exhale Inhaling to fill and exhale, relax. Just notice how you feel in this 3 space, this place of possibility. And then invitation to take that with you and to wherever you go next in your day or night. All right, that's it for today's episode.",
