Hey there, survivors! We're back with another update for Ugly as Sin, and we've got some exciting changes in store for you. Let's dive right in and see what's new in version 4.10.0b!
We've made some sanity adjustments to the initial spoil times for Hunger. No more waiting forever for your food to go bad or eating rotten apples accidentally. Enjoy a more realistic and balanced hunger system!
Traumakit got some general improvements, including a more generalized strip check. We want to make sure your medical supplies are always in top shape when you need them the most! Brand New Features
-
Assault Pack: Introducing the "Assault Pack," a compact backpack with a slightly reduced bulk bonus. Now you can carry your essentials without sacrificing mobility.
-
Stabilizer: We've implemented an initial working concept for the Stabilizer. It will help you reduce muzzle climb and improve your aim. Give it a try and let us know what you think!
-
Markers: We've added new flare sprites, courtesy of vitriolicv/valerie_v. Plus, we've updated the code to handle animated flares and burned-out states properly.
-
AI Enhancements: Lasers are now available for all "hitscan" enemies. Additionally, we've made adjustments to enemy behavior when using flashlights and lasers, resulting in improved performance and a more realistic experience.
-
Various bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements, including text wrap in looting, UI enhancements in the Traumakit, and adjustments to hunger mechanics.
-
Improved compatibility with other mods, such as HDWeapon and Core.
-
Cleaned up code and removed outdated references to ensure a smoother gameplay experience.
-
Made several tweaks to balance and gameplay based on community feedback.
