Description

Burnout is, unfortunately, a real thing among developers.

In this talk, I’ll discuss about this dread roller coaster of feelings and emotions; mental and physical exhaustion; that pushes many developers into dark places in their lives.

Using my own personal struggles, let's talk about the issue and how to handle it.

Key Takeaway

  • what Programmers Burnout is ?
  • will Burnout be more than an energy disorder ?
  • what are the signs of this issue ?
  • steps to handle it and recover ?

About me

From the land of the biggest wave in the world, I'm currently Head of Coffee (unofficial title), and Web Developer at Kwanko Portugal, where I build Web Applications that boost up the performance of our clients campaigns.

I'm a father of two; a long-term-Laravelist; helping the open source to be prettier; and founder the "Laravel Lisbon" meet up group.
