  • When opening a facility please ensure you have the following time to control:

Class Charlie/Delta: 30 Minutes ​ Class Bravo/Radar: 1 Hour

  • Coordinate to open facilities with other controllers during peak traffic.
  • For airport information, manned facilities and more, visit www.ifatc.org
  • Controllers may not control on the Training Server unless using Approach for upgrade training when unable to use the IFATC Server.
  • Slack is primarily used to coordinate ATC efforts. Off-topic #discussions should be kept to a minimum.
  • Slack file storage space is limited. Delete files regularly using /deletion

The following are some common slash commands you can use in slack to help you: /atc will show all open frequencies /metar [KASE] will show you the current real time metars for a field by inputting the correct airport code /livestatus will link to the IFATC exclusive facility status page /deletion will link to the Slack file remover /away will set your Slack status to “away” /open[channel] will allow you to open a specific channel /remind will allow you to set helpful reminders.Happy Controlling! :ifatc:
