About this doc

The text below is the current text that appears in the close modal (and flag modal) and the post notices for different users. I've included it here since seeing the asker text is essentially impossible unless you've had a question closed.

Below this doc, in the comments, you will find my current version of proposed changes to the different close reasons. I'd like to do updates for the five that appear network-wide and also the migration text.

You're welcome to leave comments with suggestions for improvements to these proposals. Later this week I'll make a big post on MSE for people to review.

I have been trying to understand why Stack Exchange has opted to have several different Cryptocurrency sites instead of a single site for a long time. In December of 2015 a question was asked on MSE about making a single cryptocurrency site to rule them all:
