1. Medellin Android (Organiser - Local MeetUp)

Local MeetUp to share Android Dev thecnical contents and more than 1.5k droids subscribed. We have at least one session a month with one or two speakers each. The average of attendees per sesion is +25.

2. Droids4Droids Colombia (International Conference Organiser)

Colombia's first Android conference held in Medellín and gathering +180 attendees and +15 different speakers, including 3 GDEs:

I've been sharing stuff and speaks with the local Android's meetup, some including Dagger 2 for Android Dev, Working with Jetpack's WorkManager and Tools to improve productivity while developing android apps

4. Google Dev Fest Medellín- 2018 (Conference - Speaker)

First time speaking on a Google Dev Fest conference :) which had 400 attendees. I did a speak regarding Performance in Android (an updated version with new contents and examples)

5. Droids4Droids Guatemala - 2017 (International Conference - Speaker)

First edition of Android's D4D conference held in Ciudad de Guatemala - Guatemala with 200 people attending the event. I did a speak regarding Performance in Android (2nd version)

6. Droidcon Santo Domingo - 2017 (International Conference - Speaker)

LatinAmerica's first Android conference held in Santo Domingo - Dominican Republic with 200 attendees. I gave an initial talk about basics of Android Performance.

7. Vancouver's Kotlin's Nights - 2017 (Local Meetup - Speaker)

Vancouver's Kotlin Meetup. I gave a workshop on how to work in Android using Kotlin as native language.

[10. Project Portfolio]

I've been working under different modalities, some with private projects that are not currently in the store or were in the past and I have no references to share them, and others still available:

  • Buyers App - Current project With this app the clients can bid some auctions created by different agencies within USA and Canada. It's implemented using Java, under MVVM, Databinding, WorkManager, Room and Retrofit. New features and modules are being implemented using Kotlin.
  • TPGMAC - Current project Application that allows agencies to create Auctions even in offline mode, then sync them later. It's implemented using Java, under MVVM, Databinding, WorkManager, Sugar ORM and Retrofit. New features and modules are being implemented using Kotlin.
  • Zelle - Money Transfer App A mobile wallet who gathers 20+ banks to allow money transfer among them immediately with a low fee. Project based on MVP and RxJava; with my team we build an app that is currently used million of users.
  • SEGUROS SURA Colombia Application that allows access and manage all information related to all company’s insurance products in addition to schedule some assistance and medical appointmens and money refunds.
