How to use this table:

  • Measure the Vz of your LM399 at 1mA.
  • Find your Vz in the chart below
  • (If your Vz isn't an exact match, go with the next highest value, which will yield an Iz of slightly over 1mA. For example, if my Vz were 6.6140, I would use the 6.6154 entries in the chart below).
  • Rz, Rf and Rg indicate the resistor values
  • If indicates the current through Rf and Rg
  • Vop indicates the output voltage of the opamp.

(Each time Vz changes it appears in bold. Some changes are smaller than 4 significant digits and are not visible as changes.)
