Ceasefire Script: Palestine

Want to call your US Senators and Represenatives and urge them to do more to stop the genocide in Palestine?

Here's a script you can you use.

  1. Look up your congress members here: https://www.congress.gov/members/find-your-member
  2. Call them on the numbers listed, and read the script below.

Script

Hello, my name is [YOUR NAME]. I live at [FULL ADDRESS SO THEY CAN VERIFY YOUR A CONSTITUENT], and I'm a constituent of yours.

I'm calling about Palestine and Israel. I want to urge you to take immediate steps to deescalate, by calling for a permanent ceasefire, pressuring Israel to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza, pressuring the Biden administration to resume funding of the UN Relief and Works Agency, and refusing to send any additional weapons or funding to the Israeli military.

I am asking you to publicly call for a ceasefire along the lines of the new Ceasefire Now resolution in the House led by Cori Bush and Rashida Tlaib.

This is a genocide. You must take action now to stop Israel's genocide against Palestinian people in Gaza and end all US complicity in Israel's violence.
