Dreams of a flower

A flower grew in a distant land.
Alone daily, 
dreams of delicate fragrance
delight my soul.

And oh the hole from which the flower grew.
Into this hole the flower shall return,
forever the flower will be no more,
and so I dream of the flower.

Radiant warmth of sunlight magic
flowing as silky waves.
Rippling outward from the center,
blankets of hope and passion.

And dream I must for forever,
as forever is here and never again
the flower.
