Allow users to view weather conditions at beaches in the Tampa area using Google Maps and the Storm Glass api.
*note to grader: I changed the idea for the app.
The project proposal statement is now:
Help users plan a sailing trip in Tampa Bay by incorporating data about weather conditions and marine weather conditions from the Storm Glass API. For example - tide height, wind speed/ direction, swell height/direction, temp high/low, sunrise/sunset.

overall feedback was generally positive. the only issue was potential confusion around the results displayed which were fixed by css styling.
  1. What is ES6
  2. Let & Const
    • uses block scoping
    • const cannot be reassigned
    • not hoisted
  3. Arrow Functions
    • uses block scoping
    • implied this value assignment
    • no prototype
  • The real purpose of arrow functions is to handle the THIS keyword withing nested / callback functions

This list is meant to be a both a quick guide and reference for further research into these topics. It's basically a summary of that comp sci course you never took or forgot about, so there's no way it can cover everything in depth. It also will be available as a gist on Github for everyone to edit and add to.

APP NAME: POST
The idea is based around keeping data and posts anonymous- a rare thing on social media platforms.
This app will be like an anonymous twitter or reddit. No accounts or log in required. Users can post 1 time per day
in each category of the forum/feed. Categories like "shower thoughts", "funny", "happy" (positive/affirmations), and
"screaming in to the void". Users can "like" or "up-vote" posts. All posts will expire and be deleted after 24 hours
similar to instagram stories. User can see posts in each category chronologically (a live feed of posts) or by
popularity (most likes/up-votes). Maybe archive most popular posts per day, maybe not.
