Twig World is recruiting for server-side web developers, at all levels, to
join our team. Ideally you would be able to join the team in our Glasgow
office, but remote work may be a possibility for the right candidate.
Successful candidates will be helping to create and maintain our web
applications delivering exceptionally high quality educational content to
over 50 countries and in a dozen different languages.
We primarily work in Python and Django. Candidates with prior experience
in these technologies will be given extra consideration, but all
candidates with a strong grasp of programming principles and experience
with similar languages (Ruby, Perl, Lisp, Go, etc) will be viewed favourably.
If you’re not familiar with our core technologies, training will be provided
at the company’s expense. We are a firm believer in personal development, as
such even the most experienced developers will be given the opportunity to
advance their skills. We have an established budget for employee education
and allow developers to take training courses, attend conferences and otherwise
improve their skill-set during normal business hours.
We have a very relaxed atmosphere and offer flexible working hours as well as
free breakfast, drinks and snacks. Our social committee provides the company
with a good mix of regular events. We want our staff to have a good work/life
balance and some of our benefits include corporate gym rates and the cycle to work scheme.
