I modified @T-One 's excellent Gist somewhat for my purposes: I had alot of orphaned files in my Immich instance! I was getting impatient and wanted to see progress and ETA. UPDATE: A better way! (August 2015)

As pointed out by @johntyree in the comments, using git reflog is easier and more reliable. Thanks for the suggestion!
