DTR Memo

Project:Intention Timer

Group Member Names: Lindsay, Darla, Claire

Goals and Expectations for the Project (What does each group member hope to get out of this project? What do we want to achieve as a team? How will we know that we're successful?):

-Finish all iterations shoot for 3s and 4s
-Git workflow

Team strengths & collaboration styles (consider discussing your Pairin qualities here):

-Claire prefer divide/conquer, but needs lots of communication to work well

How we can use our strengths to overcome obstacles:

Bounce ideas off each other, work with all our strengths.

Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually? What constraints do we have? Make sure to discuss the remote questions above in regards to this section):

-Linday wants Friday evening off/Saturday morning
-Claire wants Sunday off, break most days from 4-5ish MST
-Darla wants an hour 4-5 MST, ok to work late

Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open? How will we make decisions as a team? How will we communicate about our emotional and mental well-being with each other?):

-Communicate often, like adults.
-Slack messages to communicate, generally, get on a call to troubleshoot anything

Abilities & Growth Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement):

-Lindsay excited for CSS, troubleshooting, youtube videos!
-Claire's strength JS, details, event bubbling, youtube videos!
-Darla area of growth- CSS, event bubbling and DOM

Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?):

Claire- no preference
Lindsay- no preference
Darla- no preference

Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests/Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques):

-Professional part easy to get a 4, use PR template, don't work on main, do comments on PRs, nice README

Pomodoro Break Schedule:

-Claire would prefer 45 min and longer break or work til end of flow
-Lindsay work until stuck
-Darla work til stuck (bad at POMs)

Expectations for giving and receiving feedback:

-Claire expectation kind, actionable -Darla, all feedback all of it -Lindsay not easily offended, all the feedback

Additional Remote Considerations:

-Claire and Lindsay work in person
-Darla in FL until Friday

Project management tools we will use (GitHub projects or Trello are popular tools):

GitHub projects Atom teletype/Tuple to type remotely

-get on a call and driver/nav while Darla does HTML
