# Notes
- State of the project - Mac build is broken from fbs build. 
  - Local builds are still working. 
  - Can we build and distribute locally built binaries?
  - Adrienne uses Windows, could use a firmware release build from that then she can test from a locally built mac binary.
- Hardware state - Working on layout. Might have a final design review on January then start looking at prototypes. Need
  to make updates to the firmware to support the new hardware. Want to make it configurable. Maybe auto detect what kind of
  processor/board to automatically select the version. Can bake hardware revision into the board when we get to production.
  Matei to schedule the design review.
- Web stack tabled until January
- Google Summer of Code - participated in the past under FOSS Asia (friend of a friend). Need to sort out how to host this
  as an organization. Probably worth a try. Applications for organization closes end of January. Must apply with project.
  Students can apply until April. Starts this summer, runs for 3 months. 
  - Projects: web interface? Open format for knitting patterns (kind of exists) Disney might have a storage format.  
  - Who wants to host. Maybe Carson.
  - How to poke Sonia, in chat.
- NSF grant - Craft work going to be host organization. Brainstorming for outreach and stitch pattern book. 
- Knitting community meetup in Germany between Christmas and New Years. Trying to drum up more participants.
