You may have also participated in mock interviews or actual interviews outside of these class sessions. - What happened in the interview/practice? The first half the the practice interview was a number of conceptual questions, after that I completed a technical challenge.
- What are some best practices of technical interviews that you've discussed? Having confidence in your responses, asking for clarifying questions if something isn't clear, stating that you don't know something but are going to take an educated guess, asking for help or assistance is OK.
- What did you excel at in the practice? I did fairly well at the technical challenge, and at explaining technical things in lame terms.
- What will you continue to practice as you prep for interviews in the future? I will definitely continue to practice the technical piece, and continue to look at example answers to technical questions.
- What surprised you about the practice? I knew a lot more than I thought, and was more successful at the technical challenge then anticipated.
